The State Govt. in order to smoothly run three said courses has created 64 budgeted posts of faculty/staff. At present there are only 37 posts of faculty/staff filled on regular/contract/outsource basis. For smooth running of official work and cleaning work 01 no. Data Entry Operator and 01 no. Sweeper has been hired on outsource basis.
Students participate in Inter Polytechnic Sports Meet, Inter Polytechnic Athletic & Culture Meet organized every year. Annual Prize Distribution function is also organized in the institute every year.
The construction of Administrative block and Academic block Phase-1 was completed on 31st July 2011 with construction cost of Rs 898.60 Lakhs.
The construction of Academic Block Phase-2 and Workshop Block was completed on 30th July 2017 with construction cost of Rs 793.92 Lakhs
The construction of Fifty bedded Women Hostel was completed on November 2019 with construction cost of Rs 311 Lakhs and is functional from March 2022
Amount of Rs. 165 Lakhs deposited with HPPWD for the construction of 100 bedded boys hostel and is functional from Jan. 2024
Amount of Rs. 64 Lakhs has been deposited with HPPWD for the construction of type –V residence .
